Upping Your Insta-Game
A course that will take your Instagram account from 'good' to 'wow'
Your photography is improving, you've found your ideal posting time, and you've got your hashtag game down. But you still don't feel 100% happy. Your feed still looks a little messy. It doesn't have a natural flow.
Potential Instagram followers are looking for something more than just a 'good' photo. They want that photo to sit cohesively with the rest of your feed; they want a recognisable style, something that immediately tells them it's you (not asking much, are they?)
There's a lot of trial and error behind finding your style (I should know, I've experimented with many), and you need to make mistakes as well as enjoy successes before you find the style that works for you, a style that represents you. Your feed is really just a slightly more stylised extension of your life.
Module 1: Taking a Look at 'You'
- A questionnaire to help you determine what it is you want from Instagram.
- An honest and in-depth review of your account as it is now.
- Breaking down and analysing the most important aspects of an image.
- The 'What Style Is Your Style?' table. An easy to use, cross-referencing table that will help you to truly understand what visual style appeals to you, and what doesn't.
Module 2: Go, Capture
- Just you and the camera.
- Delve deeper into the elements of photography that appeal to you.
- Discover the reason why some of your images work together while others don't.
- Analyse and improve.
Module 3: Perfect and Maintain
- Taking a closer look at what will help you to achieve your signature style.
- Editing processes that work.
- Choosing filters that compliment your images.
- How to keep your style consistent and maintain a cohesive feed.
